Villas at Ocean Club B117

We've stayed here many times over the last 20-ish years. First time being so disappointed in condition of the unit - cleanliness really not up to par, front door badly rusted, no "cleanliness smell." But beds and bedding still good for a great sleep. Shower water pressure was great. AC/Heat worked great. Grounds very nice.

We stayed in early December so it was winter time weather in the south. Beautiful villa with lots of room. We will return when the weather is a little warmer. The gulf is just across the street and there are plenty of things to do.

My initial reaction was that the general condition of the unit was going to be very poor. The front door was rusted and did not open/close properly. The condition of the unit ended up being above average, but it still had corrosion in the refrigerator, bathrooms, and in some corners. The furniture was very old and outdated. The pool water was very cold and we could not use it.

The size of unit was nice and very comfortable. The only issue was not being able to find local channels which we never found. Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay.

Very quiet. Felt safe here. Very nice accommodations. Would love to go back.

Everything was great! The unit was very comfortable and spacious. The pictures online did not do it justice. The location was great, right across the street from the beach! Lots of things to see and places to eat. Loved it!

The location was fine and we felt safe. The condo was minimally clean. Dust was an inch thick on some artificial plants and behind the night stand. We dropped something behind a night stand and picked it up covered in dust bunnies. There was an empty cookie container behind there also, trash behind the TV stand, and candy under the couch cushions on the pull out bed. The return vent was full of dust as well. The faucet in the kitchen was loose and hard to use. There were some holes in the walls due to no door stops. And the main part was the air could not keep up. It stayed at 78 hot the entire time. We kept the doors shut, the curtains closed,most the lights off, and the fans running the whole trip plus 2 additional fans of our own we brought.

Close to Beach and gorgeous sand

Everything was very good. We suggest at least one spare roll of TP.

The resort was clean and a great location to drive around the city.

We are Capital Vacation Owners and have been to this resort before it was managed by PRM. We are not used to not having a representative on location, so this had us a little concerned. We had some difficulty with the "Smart Home" entry keypad as the check key would not always connect. We had an alternative incase it would not work and that was to enter through the pool gate and enter the back door where the keypad really worked well. The unit was nice and clean, but I was surprised to find that the included washer and dryer unit was locked and off limits. There was also a strange rule. If you used the pool towels, you were supposed to wash them otherwise you would be charged $20. The resort did not have a washing facility, and the included washer and dryer were locked up, so how was one to wash the towels. I also tried to call the number provided in the emails to report the problem with the entry keypad and never received a return call.

We enjoyed the area as much as possible in a 2-day stay. Our accommodations were beautiful, clean and very well appointed.

Very disappointed. Got all the information in an email about the property. Were told that the property was under construction and different buildings were being worked on. Email said nothing about the pool being closed the entire time we were there. The second day in our coffee maker broke and we called and left a message and didn’t get any response.

Enjoyed some time on the beach.

The building is run down although the outside of the building was being painted. There was coffee grounds all over the cabinet when we arrived and spoons in the dishwasher. We wondered if it was even cleaned prior to us. We didn’t let it bother us. We loved how close it was to everything else wanted to do and see.

We've stayed at this property about 6-7 times through our Capital Vacations ownership. Getting into the unit is accessible but inside for a mobility impaired we have to bring our own grab bars, bathtub bench, raised toilet seat, etc. We also were disappointed that items like tissues and laundry detergent were not provided but according to the property manager, those items were not authorized by Capital Vacations so we will take it up with them. Not having onsite managers and no one to contact on a weekend meant we had a one day delay for getting a replacement coffee maker when the one in the unit didn't work. And finally, this is a comment we make each time, there are no drawer pulls nor handles on any of the kitchen & bathroom cabinet doors rendering them difficult to open. Again we were we told y the property manager that this is a Capital Vacations issue.

Very roomy. Easy to check in and out. Condo itself needs a little TLC.

Villa was clean and comfortable. Kitchen and bathroom facilities were clean and operated as they should. Great location.

The rental was nice and clean. It is an older facility, but had well maintained rooms. Need to have a bigger bed in the master room.

First time in Biloxi. It was very close to the waterfront and the casinos and historic sites. It was perfect for our stay.

Aside from not getting a Wi-Fi code all was perfect, it rained but so much to do in the area!

My husband and I enjoyed our stay. Villa was spacious and clean. We had a 1st floor that was pool side so we could just walk out and into the pool. We used Lyft the first few days and then rented a car to explore more of the area.

I LEFT THIS RESORT TWO DAYS EARLY DUE TO THE PROBLEMS AT THE RESORT.

The resort is okay, Fairly quiet and secluded. The furniture needs replaced but is ample. The kitchen lacked a cookie sheet (it was rusty) and we only had a small square skillet and a large pot and 2 small pans. No knobs on kitchen cabinets making it hard to open. The AC in the unit we were put in was not working but we were moved to another unit, the very next day, which was very much appreciated. It just needs updated and would be very nice.
There were so many great restaurants and the town is beautiful.

There was supposed to be a check-in package. It was not in the PRM box. Fortunately the code emailed to us allowed us to access our unit. We didn't get the parking and pool passes the day we signed in. The package was available a day later.
The biggest disappointment was that the TV only allowed streaming that required registration which resulted in not seeing the Super Bowl the day we checked in. There was no information about using the TV so we had to discover this limitation.
The best event during our stay was 2/13/2024 Biloxi Mardi Gras. It was fun and the people around us were very friendly. The parade very fun. The Beach is just OK, not the best.

Really liked Biloxi area. Will definitely come back! The resort was good but needs some cosmetic upgrades and minor repairs. Prefer king size bed, coffee maker not working properly. Loved the huge bath tub but definitely needed grips installed to be able to get out. Loved the walk in shower. Was never given exit instructions for leaving.

The property is as described. The location is quiet. Overall not a bad place to stay. Condo was clean but needs some detailing work - paint chips, corners cleaned, toilet seat needs tightening. Had a pool side condo so if it were warmer that would have defeintly been a plus. Since nothing was emergent I emailed the rental office mid week but had no response, not that one was requested.
As far as Biloxi, in December there is nothing to do if you are not the casino goer. We were bored so left several days early. The unit is across the street from the beach so did a few board walk walks - very convenient - even had a stop light at the corner to get across the highway.

A small group of us went to enjoy a shopping weekend in Biloxi and the gulf coast and this rental was in a perfect spot. The room was large, had 2 full bed/bathrooms and everyone had plenty of space.

Rental was clean and spacious. We travel off season (November), so we did not use the pool. The grounds were very well kept and clean. The facility was easy to find and very close to the beach. We came to see the gulf coast and to have peace and quiet, we got both.

After some problems with Fire sticks on the televisions, Nicki took care of it. Enjoyable vacation stay. Thanks

It was very nice and relaxing.

I made 5 trips here last year, and 5 trips this year. It’s always very clean. The people I meet here are very nice. You have gas grills by the pool to cook on, my son likes that. There’s always something to do, young are old. Nice places to eat. I definitely recommend staying here.

The only problem was the noise from upstairs bothering my aunt and uncle while they slept.

The location was perfect for us ... and the staff So helpful...thank you Carry for being so helpful with getting us everything we needed!(Your a gem!) The community @ the property was so welcoming, we hope to return in the future!

This was a great property to stay at. Right by the ocean and the boardwalk. We could walk to most all of the eating places, which was wonderful! I would definitely go here again.

It was very clean and peaceful. Wish I could have watched local tv instead of everything being streamed.

I enjoyed everything

The condo was very nice, spacious, and clean. The grounds was very nicely kept, with plenty of parking, and quiet. The location was perfect because the casinos, restaurants, and shopping was within 2 miles. The beach was across the street with beautiful white sand and wide sidewalks for walking and riding bikes. This was our first time in Biloxi, MS and we definitely plan to come back.

The rentals are nice 2-bedroom units with an amazing pool and short walk to the beach.

We love the Gulf Coast and was excited to find accommodations within our vacation club (DR) and convenient location.

Weather was nice and people in the area were very courteous and warm. Walking along the beach and food was OUTSTANDING!

Check in & out very easy once We got the instructions.
We left a list of items needing repair or replacement as we found them on check in.

Condo was in good location, close to beach and restaurants. The condo has a good layout for couples. Condo needs some maintenance and a deep cleaning. Surface areas were all clean and bathrooms clean. The floors need deep cleaning, socks were black after walking around the condo. Maintenance was prompt when we tried to use the oven and did not work. Fixed the same day. Patio was very dirty we did not use at all and there was trash and dirty diapers left on patio. Many hoes in the walls and towel rack in second bathroom was missing with holes left unpatched.

A few glitches with the door code not working and then the unit not being cleaned. Talked with Nancy. She fixed both problems. Headed back twice in August. Hope to enjoy the pool and beach then. Great location.

This location was not clean two weeks in a row. The cable did not work in bedroom number 2. Bedroom number one did not have enough electrical outlets to allow the condo to have internet throughout or cable in bedroom one. I expressed my concerns after stay #1, but no one followed up or fixed any of the things wrong with the unit. I stayed one night and then went home. This location does not meet the standards I'm used to when I stay with Capital resorts.

Place was clean. However, neither bedroom TVs were operating.

Not what I'm used to from Capital Resorts. Coffee pot full of mold. No cable in 2nd bedroom. And in the Master bedroom you had the option of internet for the condo or cable tv for the tv, you needed to plug 3 things in, but only had room for 2. Table very wabbly in dining. Had previous visitors towels in one bathroom drawer. Stayed two nights, then went home. Not the experience I had last time I was here. Reported issues via email, no change.

The property was very nice. There were a few issues that the property management would not be aware off unless told. The master BR remote volume control would not work up, down or mute. There was a strange alarm in the living room that went off two nights with a static noise. The refrigerator would not produce ice cubes, only crushed ice. The commode in the master bath leaked and was constantly refilling several times an hour to keep the proper level. I had to use one remote to turn on the TV in the living room and another remote to turn it off.
My wife was not happy because the towels in the master bath appeared to be a little damp. We enjoyed the stay and these were only minor issues that could be addressed by the maintenance crew if they were aware of them. We would consider staying here again if we had the opportunity. We had a problem with our cell phone while there and a security guard was gracious to let us place a call on his phone to a family member and let them know of our status. We were very thankful for his help.

Everything was fine and the employees were great. I think I left a long black coat with money in the pocket but I'd just like to know if that's where it ended up. I haven't found it. Check in was Nov 9th for 4 nights, but I left one day early.

Condo in great location, however maintenance is poor. We reported leaky toilet(water all over floor), burned out lights, none of which were repaired during our week stay

First day noticed that receptacle cover in spare bdrm was missing. Grand child coming over. None of the remotes were working properly, could not watch TV.
Broken drink glass in kitchen. Master bath toilet was leaking water at base. called multiple times and left messages at # left on front door Ext.3. Called again and left messages the next two days. Never got a call back. Very clean, but funky smell, like a hospital.

Nice unit with view of pool area - just not a useable pool. Still would have been OK but TVs weren't working. Main TV got set up but one bedroom not working at all and the sound couldn't be adjusted in the other. Ice maker quit on last day as filter expired.

This is the first place we have stayed thru Capital that was not on Capital property. The fact there was no high pressure felt from the Capital team made it a very enjoyable time. The lady who managed the property called the day we were due to confirm we made it there and to answer any questions. She warned us there had been problems with the dishwasher and told us how to insure that it worked. When that didn't work, we called her back. A service repair man was there within hours. He worked on it then ordered a new one. He was back same day to install it. We had absolutely no complaints with the location or property. We were within walking distance of the Gulf and had a great washer/dryer set that allowed us to enjoy the water every day. The nearby restaurants and attractions were great. We really enjoyed eating at The Reef and went to the Aquarium in Gulf Port (which was a little overpriced). They have several Art Museums that are worth mention. We went the week after July 4th. It was hot but not so much that we couldn't stand being outside. It only rained on us one day. Overall 3rd best vacation I have ever taken!!

The condo was very nice and the location was perfect. The staff there were prompt and gracious. Our only complaints were the pool was closed the first day and the couch bedding wasn’t complete with top and fitted sheets the first night. This was corrected by the staff the second day and our vacation was perfect.

Good except there were children staying in the condo above us and they were noisy.

Curtains torn up in living area. Had trouble with TV. Called office twice & never received a call back. Had to ask neighbors for the number to office. No number posted in our unit. Furniture was very worn. Never found an office. I pay much too much on maintenance fees for this to happen. Will refer only with warnings. Obviously under different management than last time we stayed here v

The rental was very nice, and will consider returning in the future. There was no ocean view from our room, but the courtyard was nice. Took a while to figure out how to use the TV options.

We enjoyed being close to the beach. The shrimp are great eating. We also enjoyed the history of the region and being close to New Orleans. There was a few maintenance problems with the unit itself. I did contact and leave a phone message, but did not receive any call back. The resort grounds were very clean. I enjoyed that I did not have to go to check in or check out. Overall we had a great time and would return to stay at the resort.

Check in was perfect. Just walked up to my room & entered the code provided by email & phone message. Nice accommodations and had a restful night after a long day of travel. The next morning, very early we started hearing construction directly above us! Lawn mowers, pressure washing, outside. We left a day early!!

Condo was clean. When you fill the bathtub, then drain it , you find rust left in the tub, probably need a new water heater. Other than that, the (Queen) bed was comfortable. The curtain in the living room had a broken connection to the pull cord (right in the middle). Weather was awful this time, recommend spring or summer. We have stayed here before, and it works well for us. Convenient for us. We will stay here again. Nowhere is going to be perfect. The water issue is the only real negative aspect.

My wife and I were looking for a beach getaway during the winter and the Gulf at Biloxi did not disappoint. We are not gamblers, but love the gulf. We took a day trip to the New Orleans Botanical Garden, Storyland (connected to the Botanical Garden), and the French Quarter. We loved the Gardens and Storyland, but were disappointed with the lack of open shops and venders and street musicians in the French Quarter. Pretty deserted and dirty due to covid and the recent storm Zeta.

Would LOVE to have been in the tower hotel called "The Ocean Club" because of it's MUCH HIGHER vantage point of the gulf. The Villas where we stayed are very nice, but are tucked back behind the Ocean Club.

Background: First visit to MS coast. We did not realize that 30 days prior to our visit that Hurricane Zeta had passed through the region. Between that and Covid applause for how "normal" the region managed to maintain itself despite more closures. The trip was more of a get away from home so more time spent in the unit. 2 bedroom Unit has a nice floor plan that could easily accomodate full time living. Full size stove with oven. Suggestion to improve, put a pizza pan in the unit, there is already a pizza cutter. I chose a timeshare because sometimes a $5.00 frozen or take and bake pizza and 2 liter of generic pop for $0.87 is ok for a family meal. Cleanliness was good but plenty to nit pick. The drawer under the oven on stove has nothing in it, but would be nice if what appeared to be dog hair was cleaned out from in and around that drawer. When the shades were opened on door to the patio, obvious that little kids had been in unit at some time prior to our visit based on the little hand prints all over the window at knee height. The typical rush clean between rentals is noticeable.
It would be nice if Master BR had King bed as there is plenty of room. The Queen in the master had a comfortable mattress, but pillows were too soft, small, and flat. Most places have a mixture of firm and soft ones. Now the couch and love seat looked nice, but they were horrible to sit on for more than 5 minutes.Need Replaced.The cushions might be worn out??? I suspect that the pillows are bad in the bedroom because if others like us had to use them to place beside and behind oneself to get comfortable on the couch to get into a spot to sit on. Without the pillows it felt like the couch would force you into the wooden arms. Nothing like the feeling of a two by four being held against your lower side ribcage. The chairs at the dining table are more comfortable than the couch but of course after a while one notices that padding on the chair seat is not designed for the length of a mo

I had asked for the information to be mailed to me. It was not. There was no one to tell me which building or the entrance code. I was told I had Thursday also. This was not the case. Very disappointed with Capital.
